Researcher Seymore Fisher (1973, p 380) found that the greater a woman’s inclination to choose her clothes as to conform to current standards the less likely she is:

  1. To assign high importance to sex as a life experience.
  2. To want sex freedom increased in our culture.
  3. To experience more than one orgasm in a one-hour period.
  4. To obtain satisfaction from masturbation.
  5. To lose control of her thinking during intercourse.

Proceeding further, one finds that the greater a woman’s interest in her clothes as a means of self-decoration or attracting attention, the more likely she is to emphasize the importance of sex in her life and to endorse liberal sex standards.
