The Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology published Medical Marijuana: An Overview for Obstetricians/Gynecologists  in its March 2022 edition, reaching obstetricians and gynecologists across the globe. The research touched on many benefits of medical marijuana, including sexual enhancement.  While the article did not go into depth about how cannabis is being shown to be a sexual enhancer, such as increasing pleasure and orgasm, the research on medical marijuana is reaching medical doctors who serve women’s sexual health and wellbeing. This is important because only about 5% of women who have sexual complaints ever talk to their doctor about their sexual concerns.

The research stated the following:

Sexual Enhancement:  A 2019 survey showed 38.9% of respondents having enhanced sexual responses, helping with relaxation, and 4.7% reported worse response.”
